Uhm kinda redundant lol but got this journal at Urban Outfitters 50% off :D. It's different. You go page by page and you do what the page says. For example I did one today that said "Spill, Throw, or Spit Coffee Here". I chose to spit lmao.Yesterday I did one that said "Wipe Shoes Here". Have to redo it though because it didn't really leave marks lol. I love this kind of weird stuff..

Thinking of getting NARS Sheer Glow Foundation as my christmas present. Has anyone ever used this foundation? Or know of a good foundation for extremely dry skin?

Christmas Presents!!! & a little rant about this year:D

Hope u guys had a very Merry Christmas. Just wanted to brag about a couple of presents I got lol! I would call it show and tell but I can't take pictures since I broke my camera >.< Ugh right when our family were opening presents. Only me ! And please don't say what my boyfriend says.... " It happens." ugh he annoys me with that lol Well I got a couple of cool things. So here we go...

That gift was so unexpected ! I actually asked for a dvd player for my room any cheap one was fine. But my dad convinced my mom to get it for me. I love it! All my other gifts as well:)

 I'm so thankful for what God has given me this year. So many unexpected things have happened this year. I changed my major I was doing Nursing but I hate science! I couldn't sit through Anatomy without wanting to punch a hole in my eye. LOL I'm brutal. So I pretty much started over in school o.O Also the fact that I was in academic suspension did NOT help. And I had no idea what I wanted to do. School just sucks lol I wanted to do nursing because I have this weird obsession with hospitals lol. I love being there. I love seeing everything the staff does... doctors, nurses, receptionist..etc.. I just really love watching them do their job. Also I want to help people and work with kids. So I wanted to do pediatric nursing. But I hate science lol and u know that's kind of a big part..... I know shoot me! lol So I've currently decided I'm going to get a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. I wants to work for CPS and help the kids in need and those kids in bad cases. So that's my goal for right now. I start taking actual Criminal Justice classes this Spring Semester. I have a feeling I'll like it:)

And then I go off and get a boyfriend... I was single for 6 months!!! lol That's a long time for me. I'm not the type of girl that "dates" around. Also not the type of girl that HAS to be in a relationship either. I was with my ex for almost 3 yrs and then my next ex for only 6 months (long story) so it's not like I was with a whole bunch of guys. 2010 was supposed to be a year about me and no one else. I didn't want any guy getting in the way of school or work or my life. I didn't want to be controlled and be told what to do. And along he came and swept me off my feet lol. We had a connection that I can't explain. Years of friendship and we were left alone and everything just changed. Next thing I know it's April and I have a boyfriend lol. I don't regret it though. I'm happy for once. He's so good and sweet to me. And i'm like sickly annoyingly in love. You see I'm not the touchy feely kind of girl. So it's weird for me to say stuff like I love him to a few people I don't even know lol . But I do I love him. He's one few good thing this year has brought me:)

Hope next year my life will just be stable! That's all I really want. No more surprises. I HATE surprises haha. I don't want to worry about anyone else's problems. I feel like this year was me worrying about everyone else. And I mean it in the nicest way possible fuck everyone else. Lol I've learned to trust no one. And for once I want to make ME happy. It's ok to be a little selfish sometimes lol

Found me some ELF:)

So this is just a quick post... Things have been hectic with finals. but I'm finally done:) I don't have any actually pics of these products but i just felt like talking about them. so i finally found ELF products!!! All the targets near me don't seem to have them but last week i went to a Target in Memorial City Mall and I was in awe.  


I've heard so many things about ELF and Ijust wanted to give it a try. So for those who aren't familiar with ELF, ELF stands for Eyes Lips and Face. It's a cosmetic line with super super affordable makeup. Here is the website for whoever wants to check the products out http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ What I've been wanting to try out is the blush and bronzing duo, which has been compared to NARS Orgasm/Laguna Duo. Btw I have the NARS duo and I use it all the time. so as soon as I saw the ELF section in Target I ran to it. I mean even my mom was like omg this is only 1$? is it good? lol. The ELF studio contouring blush and bronzing powder is 3$!!!!!Compared to the NARS duo which is 39$! So I immediately grabbed this and to tell you the truth I was skeptical to grab anymore stuff haha So I just grabbed this and an eyelash curler which i needed. (1$)

And omg i love it! It is the perfect dupe for the NARS one. Well maybe not a perfect dupe but they are very similar lol It blends very well and both colors compliment each other. First time I wore it though I went a little overboard with the bronzer. I applied it heavily and it looked streaky, so now I apply lightly. I mean for 3$ I'm happy! One bad thing it doesnt last all day long so i do have to carry it along with me for touch ups. but I did the same thing with the NARS one lol With the NARS duo I probably will just re-buy Laguna it's a beautiful bronzer for the summer. I'm not a big fan of Orgasm. I feel like it looks reddish and sparkly against my tanned skin.I actually prefer the ELF blush better as it has a more pinkish undertone. So yea definitely will be trying more ELF products!

Remember me? lol I have not posted anything in days! Ooops lol Got caught up in the holidays:) Hope all of you guys had a happy thanksgiving. I sure stuffed myself:) haha. Every year I make the desert. For the past two years I've made cheesecake because everyone seems to love it and my mom doesn't even ask me if I want to make it she just buys all the supplies and puts me to work lol. But this year we tried something different. I made a tres chocolates flan (three chocolates flan). I am not a big fan of flan bleh. So I didn't enjoy desert this much this year. But my family loved it!! I wanted to take some to work for my coworkers to taste but didnt have a chance to!

I know greedy peoples huh? That's my family:) Well I am officially 21. My birthday was this Sunday. I  want to thank my family and friends for making it a fun weekend for me. Got some cool gifts like Glee pj's :D!! lol and my all time fave gift: all seasons of Friends!!!! My boyfriend read my blog lol and he's like an apple hater so he didn't get me my itouch:( still gotta save up for it lol But I'm happy with my dvd's I absolutely have no life at the moment I come home and pop in an episode. lol I am very thankful for the people I have in my life!

So this is a tag going around stating three things you dislike about yourself and three things you like about yourself. I feel like doing this because I know in years to come these things are soo going to change lol. I know myself I love and hate so many random things and I will change my mind constantly >.<. So here we go:D

HATES

#1.My dry skin. Especially right now during this type of weather. Ughghhg I feel like constantly splashing a bottle of water on my face lol And my cheeks get so red like I don't even need blush haha I benefit with my skin during the summer. But other than that bleh i hate it!

#2. My legs. During these past years I have kinda gained some weight like a lot lol. Yea yea I need to work on that but it's not like I'm huge...I think....idk i dont care to tell u the truth.. (i'll talk about that in my loves lol) But anywho even when I was super skinny (110 lbs to be exact) my legs have always been thick. Like idk I feel they're always flappy and like all my weight goes there ugh. One of my aunts like she has no fat in her legs at all grrr I wish I was her lol. 

#3 My hair? Lol I had to think about it. My hair well it looks ok when I actually try, but ugh I wish it was either super straight or super curly. Instead it's a afroish wavyish big mess. I wish I was one of those girls that could get out of the shower and put absolutely no product in her hair and still look fine. But NO I either have to put some spray gel to make it curly or flat iron it. Bleh 

LOVES

#1. My Height Buahahaha I'm sorry to all the shorties out there. But I am really glad I'm tall :D I am 5'7" which I actually consider average if u ask me or maybe I'm wrong lol. Well I don't feel like a giant but I do like the fact that I'm taller than most girls but not as tall as most guys. And thanks to my "tallness" I don't look as huge as I am. If I were short I think I would look really huge!

#2 My curves Yup I love feeling like a real woman and having my latina curves ie. my hips. :D I love it I feel hot haha I know it's dumb but idk I have curves and I like them. And I thank God that he didn't make me a stick figure that I feel like a woman even though to tell ya'll the truth a lot of people think I'm a little girl trying to look like a 21 year old. When really I am 21!!! But that's another story lol But yup I love my curves. 

#3. My eyes. I just love my eye shape. They are not huge or anything but i guess the way I do my makeup people are always saying that I have big eyes which I dont think I do but whatevers lol. I have to say my eyes are always being complimented. I'm the type of person that can stay quiet but you look into my eyes and you can see what emotions I'm really feeling. I guess my eyes are how I express myself

So this is out of fun. I think it's fun to poke fun at ourselves sometimes. Feels kinds good seeing the cons then stating my pros. We are what God made us. And I think we should feel happy with ourselves. :) Beauty comes from inside. So let it shine through!

Has this year gone by fast or what? Wow in a blink of an eye it's freaking November :O I'm sitting in class right now. Like always never paying attention bahaha just rambling on here. :D 

So on November 21st, 2009, I attended one of the greatest concerts ever:) Skillet's Awake and Alive concert. On this year on November 20th, 2010 I will be attending Skillet and Toby Mac's concert :D:D:D:D:D!!!!! I am so excited ! I am attending this event with my bff Maira and cousin Leslie and my 10 yr old cousin Steven. His first concert:) I'm excited to bring him. I hope he has a good time. Man at 10 they took me to lame concerts like Kumbia Kings >.< and only cause it was free at Astroworld bahaha good times ! I miss Astroworld:( Gotta drive 3 hrs to San Antonio to go to Six Flags now blehh! And omgizzle (got that from Leslie haha) I think the new My Chemical Romance Cd is out already i gonn go check lol ttyl pplz I will get random again lol

Letter to Myself

To the girl in 2007, 


First of all don't quit that gym membership that your mother is so kindly paying for! When you get older you are going to miss that and are going to be too lazy to go back >.< lol. You don't know everything about life. There are still so many feelings and situations that you have to experience. I feel that you're going to be 45 and things are still not going to make sense. Life is about taking chances. True. But listen to that gut feeling that's you something's wrong. Don't let love blind you. Not everything lasts forever. Cherish those special times. They may never happen again. Stop sheltering yourself from people. Not everyone is out to hurt you. The ones that are closer to you may be the ones to hurt you the most. So let people in once in a while. And please stop trying to please everyone! Think more about yourself. You are not being selfish. Do what makes you happy because later on you will always be wondering what if? Your decisions shouldn't be based on what other people want. Those people won't always be there for you. You will be betrayed. You are going to be lied to. Life only gets harder from here. But cheer up better things are to come. You're going to loose a very important person that you never thought would hurt you as much as it did. Even now it's hard to get over it. But you're going to gain another person. And this person will change the outcome of your entire life. Don't depend on him so much. You will be perfectly happy on your own. This year you will fall truly deeply in love.  You are going to spend years falling in and out of what you think it's love. Which was really lust. Don't let anyone control you. Don't let anyone make you feel unworthy. We're used to getting anyone we want. But he is going to show you what pain is so be careful. Listen to your brain not your heart. Do what's good for you. Your bitchiness isn't going to go away. Lol. Keep trying to please everyone? You're just going to get angrier! ugh You! lol  I love who I am though. What hurts us only makes us stronger.

So I wrote this regarding to me when I was 17.  It's advice I wish someone would've told me when I was this age.  At that age was my first year of experiences of so much happiness then pain all in one year.  Hmmm this made me think a lot lol. It was interesting to write. :D

Kat Von D's Tattoo Chronicles...

Just fyi I'm trying to invest into a better camera. I currently have a Samsung L200 10.2 megapixels. It is not a bad camera, but the focusing sucks >.< lol So hopefully I will get a new one maybe not soon but one day ? Haha Ok so let me get to the point. 

So I'm on break from work walking around the mall. I go into Sephora just wanting MUFE or Urban Decay Eyelashes. I'm going through the aisles and bam I pass the Kat Von D section and I see the most interesting packaging I've ever seen. I'm serious the packaging it's what got my attention for this pallete. 

Kat Von D's Tattoo Chronicles Palette Vol 1

 It looks like a book :O And I am such a bookworm that this was the most cutest thing ever!! Then I looked inside and omg the colors were so beautiful. It had every color I've been looking for no lie! 

Top row is mostly neutral colors that I already have. Very comparable to the Naked Pallete which I love!!! :D Now the second row has a very nice deep dark purple with blue undertones, a soft purple lilacy color, a very pretty soft baby pink and a shimmery light gray. I have been wanting the dark purple and pink color. The bottom third row has black with like glitter chunks of blue (not a big fan of that one) a dark pure blue, a dark olive green, and a light shimery yellow ♥ Omg that yellow !!! eeek I love it. 

It also has three primers in skin, stellar, and smoky. I used the smoky primer today and i have to say it held up pretty good. It gives a good dark base for dark shadows. Only thing is that it's kinda like dry Like chunky I had to blend it out a lot. My top fave primer is still Too Faced Shadow Insurance. 

Anyways what made me get this pallete was 

OMG look at those eyelashes. Idk this is the first palette I've seen with eyelashes. This immediately made me buy it :D The lashes are way dramatic I wore them on Sunday and I got a lot of compliments on them.:).. The only bad thing about this palette is that I wished the colors were a lot more pigmented. I have to really pack on the lighter colors, since they are so sheer. But other than that I'm happy with my purchase:)

Whoa whoa have u guys seen the new packaging for Fanta. Lol It surprised me when I bought it at school on Monday. It is so cute. Yea I get amazed by silly little things lol I'm actually very bored right now. Waiting for my dork bf to pick me up from school. He's barely on his way >.< The boy loves his sleep lol. Just for that I'm gonna make him take me to Ulta bahaha. I been wanting the NYX Jumbo pencils especially in Milk and Black Bean. Eeeeek lol.I'm so excited I'm gonna do super smoky eye brightish makeup for Halloween. No this doesn't mean I'm celebrating. I'm actually against Halloween. But since I work and... kids are gonna be trick or treating in the mall. Uhm might as well do some crazy ass look. I'm more of a neutral color girl. I like bright colors but I wouldn't wear it to work. The old peoples are gonn have a heart attack lmao. But I have a feeling Sunday it's gonna be mostly kids and not a lot of ppl buying shoes. Blah! Today was my Tia's Birthday. She's 41 :O yay! We had fajitas and cake yum yum. 

 It was a very short weekend. Didn't have to work thank God.....But had absolutely nothing to do:/ Lol. Well had fun on Sunday went to the Airshow or as I like to say the aeroplane show! But my bf is all like noo it's airshow >.< I hate when he corrects me lol. Whatevers we saw planes go vrrroooom lol. I loved it.

Ok so that's my mom. Lol. So we got into the airshow for free because my aunt's boss works for Southwest Airlines. So we got vip passes AND we got free food XD. Bar b que brisket, sausage links, chili beans, potato salad, cole slaw, nachos, hot dogs, cookies, ahhhh! It's like we died and went to heaven bahaha. Well we were gonn go walk and see the airshow up front and my mom is right there stuffing Leslie's bag w chips cookies and coke lmao. Freaking hispanics >.< I just had to take this pic

Hackers SUCK!

Sitting here eating Lucky Charms:) Gosh it's been a long boring freaking day. Well it just feels like it. I kept getting heart  spasms during class today.I think it's the stress blah! Some jackass hacked into my yahoo account >:( Thankfully I recovered passwords and changed passwords and all that good stuff. Hopefully it never happens again *crosses fingers* Work was boring! Shoe business sucks right now bahaha. And I tried so hard not to fall asleep in class. Mr. Cowboy next to me was knocked out lmao. Well breakfast with the girls tomorrow XD. Revlon ColorStay in Fresh Beige. It's actually very good I like it. My skin is dry and this sticks to my skin without leaving cakey feeling. I just wish I had gotten the right freaking color >.>

Well what do you know? I have one of these. I always come on here and read other people's random stuff lol. Boredom kills. I decided to get one =D Well I think the only ones that would read this is the losers. (They know who they are) This would be my little diary of my random thoughts and pics!! I love taking pictures:) You never know I might meet peoples on this thing. God knows I've met so many peoples on Facebook and yes Myspace lol.
