MySpace Survey =O

Hello Lovely Peoples

Remember when myspace was the shit? I gave up on myspace last summer. Too many weirdos and teeny boppers blah. Now I'm strictly just on Facebook lol (request me?) Idk if any of you guys remember these surveys people would post on their bulletins and then everyone would copy and paste and then answer it. Omgosh it was fun!!! OK maybe not so much but me and my friends did it lol So I'm extremely bored and just felt like posting this. I just googled a random one. Random Survey :O so here we go...

1. If you were to attend a costume party tonight, what or whom would you go as?
Barbie lol I think it would be fun to be blonde and wear hot pink lipstick and look "perfect" lol Or a Zombie!!

2. What are your choice of toppings on a hamburger? And do you prefer gas or charcoal grilling?
I like cheeseburgers with lettuce tomatoes and pickles. I prefer charcoal grilling. It has this smoky flavor haha idk how to explain.

3. You are chosen to have lunch with the President. The condition is you only get to ask one question. What do you ask?
When you were a little kid, did u ever think "One day I'm going to be the President..."?
Lol I guess people would ask something more political. I just wanna know that.

4. It's your first day of vacation, what are you doing?
Figuring out where to go? lol It really depends where I am usually we hit the theme parks first lol

5. What is your concession stand must-have at the movies?
Popcorn and a Sprite yea I'm simple.

Pop-up ads !! Spam usually doesn't go to my inbox and I have a pop-up blocker but still that annoys me since I hardly check my email.

7. What do you think Captain Hook's name was before he had a hook for a hand?
Bob?

8. Rock, paper, or scissors?
Rock XP

9. How long was it from 'the first date' until the proposal of marriage? How long until the wedding?
I don't understand what this means? lol! Who's getting married?

10. Which is worse, being in a place that is too loud, or too quiet?
Too quiet. Silence is so loud to me.

11. What is one quality that you really appreciate in a person?
Honesty.

12. At the good old general store, what particular kind of candy would you expect to be in the big jar at the counter?
Those blow pops I think that's what they're called the lollipops with gum in the middle?

13. What is the most distinguishing landmark in your city?
Uhhhmmmm The Reliant? lol

18. You are offered an envelope that you know contains $50. You are then told that you may either keep it or exchange it for another envelope that may contain $500 or may be empty. Do you keep the first envelope, or do you take your chances with the second?
I take my chances with the second. It's like 10 times more than the first :O I like taking risks;)

Perfect...

"Everyone wants to be perfect, but when perfection loses its meaning, how far will you go? What would you give up to be perfect?....... Ellen Hopkins's Perfect exposes the truths about what it takes to grow up and grow into our skins our ownselves."

Coming September 13!!

Okay omg I just felt like dedicating a blog to one of my favorite authors Ellen Hopkins. Thanks to my cousin Leslie I discovered Crank oh about 3 years ago and I got hooked. I've bought every one of her books. She writes in this poem form that is so beautiful.
I think it's kinda blurry. Sorry lol but here's an example of how she writes her verses into shapes and a sort of exaggeration of words sometimes I'm guessing to express more emotion. She is a young adult writer but her writing is so intense and so real that I've heard some of her books have been banned in school libraries. She write about topics such as drug abuse, mental illness, addiction, suicide, teen prostitution and the list goes on and on.

I would really recommend her books to anyone who's looking for a book that will capture your whole attention and will have you wanting more. They are so addictive.
I have to wait until September for the next one:(
The wait is so worth it:)

Anti-Valentine's?

Hello ! Hello !

Hope everyone's Valentine's Day was good:)

I have to say this has been the best Valentine's I've ever had.
Now, for those that know me, you guys know I am sooo Anti-Valentine's. I think since I was 16 I've always had a boyfriend on V-Day. Well except for in 2010 oh and 2009 o.O lol But it never made a difference to me whether I was single or not I just never cared for it.

I still feel the same way haha

I feel like this is just some excuse for companies to get money. Why should couples have to say I love you and make a big feast only one day in a year? Like every year I get sick of all the pink and red and all the stands with huge teddy bears in the street >.< That's how it is in Houston idk about other cities lol. If your partner is going to go all out and do all this crap why does it have to be February 14? Why can't it be March 30 ? lol Any random day you know?

But I'm actually dating a girl lmao
JK Turns out Anthony's #2 fave "holiday" is Valentine's (his #1 is Halloween. How have we lasted so long? IDK! I don't even celebrate Halloween!!! lmao)

He's a real romantic guy. LIKE BIG TIME. I am so not lol I'm very simple and prefer gestures rather than gifts and this whole big spectacular event thing. (Am I making sense?) But I went along with his little plans because I love him (*coughs*gay*coughs*) lol

His words were "I don't care what the meaning of Valentine's is to most people. To me this is celebrating our love." And I said "isn't that what anniversaries are for?". He said no that's when you celebrate that you made it that far or something like that lol So I went along with it knowing this meant a lot to him.

We had a simple homemade dinner at his house. He picked me up with tangerine colored roses  lol. And when I walked in the door he had candles on the table. And WE cooked. Yup yup I cooked lmao We made chicken alfredo. Very simple, I know, but cooking totally made me forget this was even Vday. And he got me CRAVE CUPCAKES =D. I have been wanting to taste those cupcakes in the longest and I finally did. Not bad but sooo not worth 4$. I just went to Kroger's and got 4 cupcakes for 3.99$ !!
Anywho we ate dinner and then watched A Walk To Remember. I forced him to watch it lol.

Biggest surprise of all? I got me some bling. He went to Jared's :O lmao Naw not really he went to Zales lol I was really surprised with myself because I actually really love this. It's real simple and delicate and Idk I was like in shockers lol. So this pretty much sums up my little Vday. I felt like sharing.  Sometimes you have to put your own little tantrums aside and go along with the plan. You might be surprised with what you find. o.O

So whether you spent it with a special someone, with a bunch of friends, or alone. Hopefully the  day wasn't so bad lol And to those who are like f*** valentine's uhm more power to you? lol
